Fans of heavy, punchy teas rejoice: our first heavily roasted tea has arrived. This TTES #22 Tieguanyin is giving hazelnuts, toasted grains and mild cocoa. Unlike the majority of Taiwanese teas, this one shows notes of mild astringency typical for heavily roasted Tieguanyin. These notes can be toned down if you'd like by reducing the amount of tea leaves in the vessel and shortening the steeping times. The low caffeine content makes this tea a prime choice for the evening sessions.
 
This tea was made on an innovative organic farm from the Bamboo Mountain region in Taiwan. Stored and shipped from Berlin.
